A topical anaesthetic is applied to the area for 20 minutes before the procedure. Throughout the treatment I will continue to numb you to ensure you are in as little pain as possible. In fact, a lot of my clients find the whole procedure relaxing! Please note, there are always exceptions; some clients feel no pain while others have mild discomfort.
I recommend annual touch-ups for my clients to maintain the desired shape & color.
Some skin will retain pigment longer, everyone is different. I have some clients who like to maintain that "instagram brow" yearlong while others can go a few years in between treatments. Skin, lifestyle, tanning, weather, and following aftercare…all these determine your permanent makeup outcome and longevity.
Each permanent makeup procedure can last around a couple of hours, including discussion of color, placement, shape, etc. Touch-up applications do not take nearly as long. As with all tattooing, this process should not be rushed.
Eyebrows will appear darker & bolder immediately after treatment. Minimum flaking and pealing will occur days 3-5, fully healed by days 7-10.
*Please see Aftercare page for the full healing details.
Yes, permanent makeup only adds to mimic hair/powder, it does not keep away the unwanted hairs. At your appointment I will groom your brows according to your new shape, but keeping them maintained will be left up to you. I also offer brow shaping services which you can book to keep those news brows looking amazing!
Please note, permanent makeup does not cover gray hair, you will still need to tint your brows if you would like to cover your grays.
Most everyone can benefit from permanent makeup. It's a great option for people with active lifestyles who do not want to worry about sweating off their makeup. Those with vision difficulties and cannot see to apply cosmetics, or those with mobility limitations who may not be able to apply their makeup with a steady hand. Every procedure is customized to your own unique look to create the brows of your dreams.
If you have certain health conditions or on certain medications, permanent cosmetics may not be for you.
